Fadi Nukta, MD

Dr. Fadi Nukta is a plastic and hand surgeon at UMass Memorial Medical Center. He also performs breast reconstructive surgery at Milford Regional Medical Center. He is an assistant professor of surgery at the University of Massachusetts Medical School.
Dr. Nukta’s lifelong ambition was to be a plastic surgeon. Not only has he achieved his own dream, he now also teaches others to do the same as a faculty member of the University of Massachusetts Medical School.
Dr. Nukta began his surgical training as a research fellow at the Department of Surgery in Robert Wood Johnson Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ. He then completed five years of training in surgery at the Hospital of Saint Raphael, in New Haven, CT, an affiliate of Yale University School of Medicine. As part of his residency there, he also served as a chief surgical resident.
He has extensive training in advanced surgical techniques. He is board certified in surgery. He also completed a yearlong fellowship at the world-renowned Kleinert-Kutz Institute for Hand and Microsurgery. There, he had the privilege of serving as a member of the team performing the only hand transplants in the United States.
Dr. Nukta’s special areas of expertise include:

- Cosmetic and reconstructive enhancement of the nose (nose reshaping)
- Eyelid surgery and brow lift
- Breast augmentation and lift
He is also part of the multidisciplinary breast cancer team at Milford Regional Medical Center, Milford, MA. Dr. Nukta has received numerous awards from the American College of Surgery for research and academic excellence.
